Our Process

At Jacob Castleberry Custom Homes, we believe that a successful project starts with a solid plan. That's why our process begins with a thorough preconstruction design phase, where we work closely with you to understand your vision, budget, timelines, and needs. From there, we work with you to get blueprints with detailed design so that accurate construction estimates can be determined. If you don’t already have house plans, we can recommend preferred architects and affiliate banks if desired. When the final approval of the design is completed, we will be able to provide a cost proposal and projected project timeline. Once an agreement has been reached, the exciting phase of construction can begin in earnest. We are on-site and hands-on to ensure everything stays on track.

Design & Planning

We collaborate with a team of architects who will work with you to create a custom home design that perfectly fits your lifestyle and needs. From the initial layout or concept to the finishing details, we ensure that every aspect of your home is tailored to your preferences. Construction

Our building services cover every aspect of a custom-built home, from clearing land, pouring concrete, framing, roofing, siding, and building out any special nooks, hidden pantries, library, office, and safe rooms you may have included in your design. Our custom cabinet services will construct high quality cabinets for the kitchen, bathroom closet, living area, entertainment centers and/or other custom pieces based on the style and preferences you select for your home

Finishing

Our partner vendors offer a wide-variety of interior finishes and appliances that we believe satisfy many different types of interior styles. Our vendors have a proven track record of quality products, value and delivery. Our allowances for flooring, appliances, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems are very generous and will fit many types of budgets.

Quality Assurance

We treat every custom-built home as if it were ours. It means we build with quality and safety in mind and want to be sure every detail of the design is exactly the way it was planned and approved by you. Jacob personally inspects every stage of the construction process such as framing, electrical outlet placements, roof install, even cabinet plans to be sure everything is built to spec, meets building code and is delivered in exemplary fashion.
